lunch, over two sittings, was provided by our ladies
seen here with some of the helpers enjoying their own lunch.

When
the last match was played and the scores were totted up
we had a clear winner and two teams in a tie for second place.
A count back over the last 9 ends revealed that the second
place
went to:
The Wingets team of G Gordon, B Tolhurst and K Hosmer
The winners were:
The Loose team of B Hillman, J Hillman and G Sharp
It is always awkward when one of our own teams wins
an open tournament but in this case we were delighted
as Bryan, Jane and Gordon are all new members of our
club. They were asked to play at the last minute and without
their entry the competition could not have gone ahead
so smoothly. Thank you and well done
