Captain Colin 'organised' a final event of the year
A Fun Day complete with BBQ

With 4 different 'skill tests' or obstacles namely :-
Targets, Bowl to the mat, Roaming Jack and Long Mat Bowls

and all in casual dress!

The troops muster for the start.

 Audrey supervised a target

Some people took full advantage of the word 'casual'

And it looks no better from the back!

All shapes and sizes joined in

No one managed to limbo the obstacle on rink 4

Some took it seriously

Some took it very seriously.

Some even concentrated!

At the end of the day a variety of prizes were offered to the

best performing teams. Prizes were concealed in a

selection of 'posh' boxes ( which were not part of

the prize ). The obvious delight of the winners was

revealed by comments such as :-

'It's a stick of bleeding rock!'

Malcolm was delighted with his giant Toblerone and

said it should last him nearly a whole day.

The captain also took the opportunity to present

the trophies for the 'Wrong Bias' competition.

The club is aways trying to meet the needs of

the membership and David was presented

with an aid to help him through a little problem

he mentioned - once or twice  - or even more times!

Before the evening ended David got his own back

by presenting Colin with a packet of his favourite

yummy sweets!

Thank you all who turned up and made the day,

for Fred, Dennis and helpers for the wonderfull BBQ,

but mostly to Colin for organising it..

and, once again,  a good time was had by all.
