New members
We always welcome new members to Loose Bowls Club, whether they are experienced bowlers looking for a change of scene or absolute beginners looking to learn the sport. The full range of bowls played at Loose can be see by clicking this link.
During the season the Club holds open evenings on Thursdays, and non-members are welcome to come along to learn the basics of bowling with established bowlers.
Please come along at 6pm and bring with you a pair of shoes with a flat surface and comfortable clothing. Grey trousers/skirt, and white shirts are normally worn by members but are not necessary for beginners. We have spare sets of woods for your use.
We encourage beginners to join in some of the regular 'roll up' sessions which are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during the season. You will always find members there who will be pleased to help you.
